Underlying Amelanotic Lentigo Maligna Melanoma Uncovered After a Severe Blistering Sunburn [letter]

The authors report a case of an amelanotic lentigo maligna melanoma that was induced to produce pigment following a single blistering sunburn, alerting the patient to seek medical attention. The lesion was clinically unapparent before the acute UVR exposure.
